* Founder President of OBC Federation of India Mr. J. Njerappa* speak
Here, political power has remained the property of certain castes/classes for a long time and it is a bitter fact that it continues. The majority especially (Dalits, backward classes, tribals) are still living like animals even after seventy five years of independence. These majority have not even been able to make efforts to improve their standard of living. Because the power remains only among the upper castes. It is a stark reality that the majority of the lower castes remain disenfranchised.
The political existence of the state is the backward class, but ironically the backward class has not yet developed its political will. It is a fragmented class of hundreds of unorganized castes. The oppressed classes and weaker classes, as named in the system, backward classes are not seen as a class. Only the species in it are individually identified.
Casteism and the shadow of casteism in this country will not fade away for hundreds of years.
A class in the ego called me meloo
Another class that cannot get out of the illusion that they can experience everything in this system only from the shadow of inferiority and inferiority, this country will not change until the mentality of these classes changes.
No one has the kindness and generosity to sell food to the hungry.
In my opinion, it is "political barbarism" that is wooing the upper classes just for the sake of vote politics. For hundreds of years, the mature communities have experienced power, land tenure, and privileges due to caste.
Due to being exploited and untouchable classes, reservations, forced laws and constitutional privileges created in an atmosphere of insecurity, the communities have come to the fore socially and economically.
But some castes in the backward classes do not seem to have been properly classified.
There are some communities that are living in the social system like the poor and the untouchables.
How can we expect social reform, sustainable society, equality, social justice if all classes are pacified.
The development of the exploited and bottom communities cannot be achieved through the politics of appeasement.
A political revolution is born only when the poor Dalits take a revolutionary stand on behalf of the backward.
As long as there is caste-based vote politics in this country, the backward and the most backward people are seen as poor at least.
Only two communities survive here 1) Ruling communities
2)Communities electing their rulers is the only universal prelude to social system.
Here, boldness and courage to stand up for social justice is needed.
If "a snake does not die and a stick does not break" smooth politics would not have been born in the history of the state.
He said that social justice, equality and development of the underprivileged are impossible in this country as long as there are soft political propaganda.
